It’s time for the announcement of our quarterly awards in the field of Brilliance Ingenuity & Graft, and we have 4! (4?!) superstar recipients adorned with stellar talents and riches (a voucher) beyond their wildest dreams…

Our winners for Q1 2026 are…

Brilliance – shortly after the nation raised a glass to celebrate our patron saint’s miracles in the Middle Ages, it was only fitting that Imani White should be recognised for the many feats achieved already in a short but rapturously received tenure at Notorious. Flawless delivery, delighted clients, big ideas, pitch-winning prowess & a super incisive planning brain – a short quarter but a legendary contribution. Plus, we thought she was Turkish.

Ingenuity– nobody knows quite when it happened, but at some point, people, everywhere in all sorts of places, stopped just asking Yolandi De Villiers to make them a social plan & started asking her to be involved in absolutely everything. Clients getting her to sense check their content plans, creator platforms getting her to create their content, the first name on the team sheet any time there’s so much of a sniff of invention in the brief & the only person Jess decided had to be dragged into a bank holiday Friday brainstorm at 4pm, 2 days before a pitch for a bit of last-minute magic. Which she delivered. As always.

Graft – the late Ozzy Osborne once penned the legendary ‘Diary of a Madman’ &, uncanny resemblance aside, it is rumoured this may have been a premonition he had of how Robin Wooller‘s average week might look 40 years (or so) later. Robin’s week hits more notes than an Ozzy solo, taking him cross-country, category & time-zone for our clients, onto design studio for our presentations & onto making many mad ideas of ours & his own brain real, all delivered at breakneck pace.

All brilliantly well deserved but, for 1 special quarter only, we had to find a 4th…

As our co-founder Simon Price again departed for a short but sweet return, back to the mountains, we marked his departure with an award in honour. The Simon Price ‘Feast Award’ For Outstanding Excellence in Media Service. (Sorry, the feast bit is an in-joke for anyone wondering).

Approaching our, not so much twilight, but at least late afternoon sunshine years, many of us may be forgiven for leaning into our gained experience & flexing a well-trained skill set in our comfort zone. Not so the extraordinary Dan McNicholas. Once described as the Ken Barlow of media insight, Dan has risen like a phoenix from the ashes of his own experience to build new insight tools, immersed into generating an AI narrative like a modern day lawn mower man, stepped off a plane & into the theatre of pitch-craft, wrote our culture manifesto AND inspired a new generation of talents before heading home to take on fatherhood and festival living.

A worthy winner of a one-off award with achievements to knock our Ken cold.

A HUGE congratulations to Imani White, Yolandi De Villiers & Robin Wooller.
